chimney, three ways

I've been spending a lot of time up on my rooftop perch this spring and as we roll into summer, I'm going to be seeing more of my neighbors' rooftops (hopefully). I've taken to photographing the view of treetops and rooftops from this perch almost daily and am beginning to see the banal wasteland of the metal, tar and chimneys themselves as a sort of geometric still-life that has some compositional merit. see experiments below:
