Gita Lenz, American Photographer (1910-2011)
Producing most of her work between the 1940's and 1960's, Gita Lenz documented life in the Greenwich Village New York neighborhood where she lived most of her life. Her images fuse an interest in capturing city life with an abstract and simplified sense of composition which elevate her subjects.
